04 March 2024 The national examination for practicing medicine

The national examination for practicing medicine was held in February 2024 under the supervision of the Egyptian Health Council, headed by Prof. Mohamed Lotayef Executive president of the Council, and Prof. Ehab Kamal, General Coordinator of Professional Exams, in the presence of members of the Central Examination Chamber via the website designated for taking the exam.
It is worth noting that experimental and simulation exams were held to train the participating doctors on the electronic exam system, under the supervision of the Supreme Committee for the Examination for Obtaining a License to Practice Human Medicine.
According to a statement from the Central Chamber for the National Examination, 435 distinguished doctors applied to take the exam in this role through the three opportunities available during this role.
Note that the results of the exam appear to the participating students immediately upon completion of the exam on the website, provided that the Egyptian Health Council addresses the competent authority in the Ministry of Health and Population to state the results in preparation for issuing licenses to practice the profession for the successful doctors.

The Egyptian Health Council reviews its achievements
The Board of Trustees of the Egyptian Health Council held an expanded meeting on 28, April, 2026, in honor of His Excellency Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, Prof. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Ahmed Kojak, Minister of Finance, and Prof. Hani Otaiba, President of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in England. Also present were Sir. Magdy Yacoub, the international heart surgeon, and Prof. Hisham Ali Sadiq, Professor of Heart, Biophysics and Molecular Biology. At the University of Arizona in America, via video, in France, Major General Saeed Al-Najjar, Assistant Minister of the Interior for the Medical Services Sector, and Major General Dr. Nabil Fekry, Undersecretary of the Medical Services Sector at the Ministry of Interior.

Signing a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Health and Population, the Ministry of Labor and the Egyptian Health Council
Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, Mr. Hassan Raddad, Minister of Labor, and prof. Mohamed Lotayef, The Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, witnessed the signing of a tripartite cooperation protocol aimed at enhancing institutional integration and achieving the maximum benefit from the available capabilities in providing health services and developing the vocational training system in Egypt in order to enhance health care and develop vocational training.
