03 September 2024 The meeting of the Supreme Committee for guidelines for the specialty of Dentistry on Tuesday, 3/9/2024

  Prof. Mohamed Mostafa Lotayef, Executive President, Egyptian Health Council, met with the Higher Committee for guidelines for the specialization of oral medicine and dentistry to discuss the action plan and draw a roadmap for the development of guidelines for the specialization of oral medicine and dentistry Prof. Randa Ahmed Nabil Abdul Wahab Al-Salawi chairman of the committee
The committee is composed of both:
•    Prof. Randa Ahmed Nabil Abdel Wahab Al-Salawi - professor of biomaterials Cairo University dean of the Faculty of oral and Dental Medicine New Giza University. 
•    Prof. Karim Mustafa Ibrahim al-batouti-dean of the Faculty of oral and Dental Medicine, Ain Shams University.
•    Prof. Ahmed Emad el-Din Hussein Fayad-Professor, Department of prosthetic replacement, Faculty of oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University.
•    Prof. Ahmed Abdel Fattah Mohamed Al-Zahiri-Professor, Faculty of oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo University.

The Board of Trustees of the Egyptian Health Council held an expanded meeting on 28, April, 2026, in honor of His Excellency Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, Prof. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Ahmed Kojak, Minister of Finance, and Prof. Hani Otaiba, President of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in England. Also present were Sir. Magdy Yacoub, the international heart surgeon, and Prof. Hisham Ali Sadiq, Professor of Heart, Biophysics and Molecular Biology. At the University of Arizona in America, via video, in France, Major General Saeed Al-Najjar, Assistant Minister of the Interior for the Medical Services Sector, and Major General Dr. Nabil Fekry, Undersecretary of the Medical Services Sector at the Ministry of Interior.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, Mr. Hassan Raddad, Minister of Labor, and prof. Mohamed Lotayef, The Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, witnessed the signing of a tripartite cooperation protocol aimed at enhancing institutional integration and achieving the maximum benefit from the available capabilities in providing health services and developing the vocational training system in Egypt in order to enhance health care and develop vocational training.
