Participation of Prof. Mohamed Lotayef, The Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, in the first forum for the applications of guidelines in the specialty of ear, nose, and throat at the level of the health system in cooperation with the World Health Organization, and in the presence of the representative of the World Health Organization, Prof. Nima Saeed Abd; This is at the headquarters of the Princess Fatima Academy for Medical Education.  His Excellency began his speech by introducing the Egyptian Health Council, through which Law No. 12 of 2022 was issued establishing the Egyptian Health Council as a public service body, with its main headquarters in the city of Cairo. His Excellency also clarified that the main goal of establishing the Council is to organize the fields of health in Egypt in the areas of: (Education Post-university vocational training, specialized training, qualification and development of the scientific and clinical level of doctors and workers in various health fields). His Excellency also clarified that the Council does not only address the medical sector; Rather, he began working with health specialties in the Arab Republic of Egypt (human medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physical therapy, nursing, and veterinary medicine). His Excellency also presented all the activities carried out by the Egyptian Health Council, starting with the national exam for practicing health professions, as well as the Egyptian Board, where The Council grants an accredited certificate called the “Egyptian Board” to all graduates of health sector colleges after passing the training program, the standardized test for each of the health specializations subject to the provisions of this law, continuous professional development (CPD), and the accreditation of scientific, vocational training, and higher health specialty programs for the post-university education stage. And approving professional certificates for those who pass these programs in the various branches of medical health work from the relevant training bodies accredited by the Council - creating records for workers in the public and private health sectors - creating national records for diseases and medical interventions - standards for applying professional ethical charters.
 His Excellency explained in detail the purpose of creating the guidelines, which are considered national guidelines issued by the Egyptian Health Council in accordance with the law that gave them this official status. His Excellency explained how to view these guidelines through the website of the Egyptian Health Council or by entering from the mobile phone. Personal. His Excellency thanked the scientific committees for the guidelines for the nose and ear, as well as all the distinguished professors who participated in this achievement.

Also present were Sir. Magdy Yacoub, the international heart surgeon, and Prof. Hisham Ali Sadiq, Professor of Heart, Biophysics and Molecular Biology. Mohamed Lotayef, The Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, witnessed the signing of a tripartite cooperation protocol aimed at enhancing institutional integration and achieving the maximum benefit from the available capabilities in providing health services and developing the vocational training system in Egypt in order to enhance health care and develop vocational training.
