prof. Mohamed Lotayef, The Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, met with Prof. Hani Eteiba, member of the Board of Trustees of the Egyptian Health Council, President of the Royal College of surgeons - Glasgow, in the presence of Prof. Khaled Abdel Karim Musharraf, General Committees of the Egyptian Board, Prof.  Reem Emad, General Supervisor of Accreditation in the Egyptian Board, Dr. Abdel Salam Shalaby, Director General of the General Administration of Human Medicine at the Egyptian Health Council And the protocols of the Egyptian Health Council 
Where the discussion took place on some important issues to consolidate cooperation between the Royal College of Doctors and Surgeons - Glasgow (Royal College), and the Egyptian Health Council  
To achieve the goals related to the following:
-Coordination with the Egyptian Health Council to include the preparation of exam questions in a manner commensurate with the scientific content to study dentistry and expected learning outputs to suit the first part exam for a diploma of membership of the Royal College of Dental Surgery. (MFDS- Part 1)
- Setting specific criteria for managing the exam questions bank in a manner that includes governance, quality control, as well as ensuring the confidentiality and safety of issuing questions for licensing exams to practice the profession.
Setting a mechanism to ensure the security and confidentiality of the Egyptian test to practice dentistry with the first part of the Royal College Fellowship test in terms of scientific content, shape and quality MFDS-Part1.
- Setting a draft official agreement between the Royal College and the Egyptian Health Council to recognize the certificate and approve it as an equation and a reward for the first part of the Royal College Certificate.
- Enhancing the value of the Egyptian test to practice the profession for dentistry as an internationally recognized certificate.
- Research the possibility of adopting the Egyptian Board Exam for Family Medicine, Granting Graduates, membership of the Royal College for General Practitioners, and the adoption of the test for the test as the concession center.
-Search the possibility of adopting a portion of the Egyptian Board Exam for the internal specialization to equalize the first part of the MRCP-UK.

The Board of Trustees of the Egyptian Health Council held an expanded meeting on 28, April, 2026, in honor of His Excellency Prof. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, Prof. Abdel Aziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education, Prof. Ahmed Kojak, Minister of Finance, and Prof. Hani Otaiba, President of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in England. Also present were Sir. Magdy Yacoub, the international heart surgeon, and Prof. Hisham Ali Sadiq, Professor of Heart, Biophysics and Molecular Biology. At the University of Arizona in America, via video, in France, Major General Saeed Al-Najjar, Assistant Minister of the Interior for the Medical Services Sector, and Major General Dr. Nabil Fekry, Undersecretary of the Medical Services Sector at the Ministry of Interior.

Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, Mr. Hassan Raddad, Minister of Labor, and prof. Mohamed Lotayef, The Executive president of the Egyptian Health Council, witnessed the signing of a tripartite cooperation protocol aimed at enhancing institutional integration and achieving the maximum benefit from the available capabilities in providing health services and developing the vocational training system in Egypt in order to enhance health care and develop vocational training.
